Powers of Detection 2004 - contains, Fairy Dust.
Here we meet Claudine and Claude who have asked Sookie for "special" help in order to solve a murder mystery. This takes place after Dead To The World.


Bite 2005 - contains, One Word Answer.
Sookie finds out that her long lost cousin is dead and meets some well-known characters for the first time. This takes place after Dead As A Doornail.


Many Bloody Returns 2007 - contains, Dracula Night.
Eric is throwing a big bash at Fangtasia to celebrate the birthday of the one-and-only, you guessed it Dracula. And Sookie's got an invitation to the fun. This takes place before Dead As A Doornail.


Wolfsbane and Mistletoe 2008 - contains, Gift Wrap.
Sookie is spending this Christmas on her own. But when she finds a naked man on her property and an unexpected guest pays a visit, it just might be a Christmas that is unforgettable. This takes place before Dead And Gone.


Unusual Suspects 2008 - contains, Lucky.
Sookie and Amelia are approached by local real estate agent to help him solve a mystery. But this mystery is much more complicated then the girls originally anticipated. This takes place after All Together Dead.


A Touch of Dead 2009 “Complete” Sookie short story collection.
Featuring: Fairy Dust, Dracula Night, One Word Answer, Lucky, and Gift Wrap.


Death's Excellent Vacation 2010 - contains, Two Blondes.
Sookie and Pam go on a roadtrip to check out casino’s in Tunica. But this trip isn’t all about fun, they have to run an errand for Eric by Victor’s request. When things don't go as planned the girls have to dance their way out of a tight spot. This takes place after Dead in the Family.

I have done what I would never do ordinarily but I have swicked away the short stories (just the Sookieverse ones) and put them on a blog so that if there are folks who have not read them and would like to be able to read them for free, with suggestions you buy the copies afterwards you may do so...Thanks Renee for helping me out

I actually haven't read any of the short stories, I know shame on me. That may be something I read during the hiatus.

I added a short story from the Sookie Companion called A Small Town Wedding, about Sam's brother's wedding and some bother from a familiar face....
